Graduate Student ProgramAs a central tenet of our broader corporate strategy, we maintain a selection of comprehensive programs to guarantee that our business has an ample number of staff of the required quality to accomplish our ongoing and future needs. These have been created principally to entice prospective employees to seek a career with Rusneftegaz, whilst also enabling each individual to fulfil their potential by promoting their long-term development. Ultimately, we believe that the recruitment and retention of the highest caliber of personnel will empower our organization to continue to achieve our current goals, which will demand input from a broad range of skills to be fulfilled. Despite the fact that the majority of these are designed for our youngest staff, including talented graduates and those leaving full-time education with strong prospects, we do additionally offer arrangements for our more experienced members of our workforce to advance further. Rusneftegaz has a unique culture where we constantly encourage all of those affiliated with our company to pursue their own personal progression, regardless of their age or tenure with our enterprise. Although the schemes for our younger employees are systematic, aimed to enable rapid professional growth, we provide an abundance of opportunities for anyone within our corporation to take a role as a leader. Whilst we are open to the notion of recruiting managers and directors externally, it is our preference to promote internally with the intention of appointing those who have existing knowledge of our operations and procedures. As such, we endeavor to create surroundings whereby youngsters can continually improve their performance, primarily via an extensive training regimen entailing all the information needed to succeed in their chosen role. In conjunction with this specialized instruction, it also includes optional tuition intended to foster leadership abilities and traits in those who wish to partake. Such exercises have proven to be useful at enhancing the efficiency of each participant individually, and thus also Rusneftegaz as a collective.
Since the inception of our business, recent graduates from colleges and universities have comprised the majority of our incoming personnel each year, with the aforementioned program having provided youth with a chance to establish their livelihoods with Rusneftegaz for the past two decades. During each tailored syllabus, those enrolled will be able to become acquainted with the formalities of working for an oil company, including all the equipment and procedures utilized on a day-to-day basis. For instance, all those registered will study all necessary health and safety guidance, laws and regulations, whilst also making use of the advanced technologies that we deploy for our operations. Similarly, we additionally aim to engage our young professionals by allowing them to immerse themselves in activities that are ordinarily reserved for our senior executives. In latter times, this has involved our youngest members of staff attending numerous corporate and industry conferences, forums and excursions with their more experienced contemporaries. Altogether, this has evolved into a comprehensive curriculum to expedite both the personal growth and professional development of our newest arrivals, and ultimately impart the ideal circumstances for swift career progress. Despite the fact that these elements of the ongoing learning process will transpire in the classroom, most tuition takes place out in the field, be that in a practical or administrative setting. Likewise, successful candidates will work in a heterogeneous, multinational environment regardless of their location, and will therefore be required to practice and improve your English language skills to facilitate communication with a range of experts from around the world.
If you have left formal education in the previous three years, we cordially invite you to apply for our graduate program. We remain open to applications throughout the year, with a start date agreed mutually by both the applicant and our organization without any limitations. Overall, the plan takes between eighteen and forty-two months to be completed, depending on time restrictions and the aptitude of those involved. To qualify, Rusneftegaz is seeking those that have attained their degree or will finish it in the immediate future, together with a grade point average of 4.0 or higher from their prior studies. For qualifications earned from foreign institutions, we shall pass judgement on a case-by-case basis as to their equivalency with those realized in the Russian Federation. Whilst it is our preference for such university courses to be achieved in subjects related to our activities, this is not mandatory, and we are happy to accept all academic certification accomplished at this level. Moreover, all candidates must have some working knowledge of English and at least two personal references. At the end of an interview and basic testing, a candidate may be invited to join Rusneftegaz and sign a binding agreement with our enterprise. Under the terms of the contract, each individual will be obliged to work for us for a further three years after their unique program has ended, in conjunction with any additional conditions stipulated. This includes the mutual obligations of both our corporation and the new employee, the modicums in which the scheme will be concluded, and the penalties faced if the arrangement is terminated before its completion. The protracted length of this course primarily ensures that upon culmination that each graduate is fully qualified and capable in their respective position, and in the long term is able to take a leadership role within our business.
The development of these professional competences is paramount to the continued success of our company, and we are inclined to invest in individuals to facilitate this. Ultimately, we require the next generation of our workforce to address new and emerging challenges that do not exist at this time, and make innovative decisions accordingly to achieve the desired results. For some, this will also entail working in arduous environments, or engaging in or directing a team occupied in a remote location. These circumstances are dictated by the profession selected by each candidate, accounting for our current openings and their existing skills. Although we are able to accommodate individual preferences, we make recommendations based upon qualifications earned and any work experience accumulated. In most instances, we are willing to accrue a surplus of qualified employees to ensure the replenishment of personnel, meaning that the overwhelming majority of our new arrivals are appointed to their first choice of role. Foremost, we must insist all of our latest recruits are capable of participating in multidiscipline projects from the earliest days of their tenure with us. To expedite this, we provide a comprehensive mentoring program to aid with the transition to full-time work, and shall offer our full and unconditional backing for your personal progression in the years ahead. For instance, each graduate will have at least one chance to visit one of our production sites to gain further understanding of our operations, regardless of their role within our corporation. Whilst conjointly each of these components aggregate into an exhaustive program of support, we do expect all of those who participate to be independent and proactive, fundamentally managing their own assignments, tasks and all other aspects of their workload.
In both the immediate and long term, our graduate scheme has been created to fulfill our ongoing requirements for qualified administrative, managerial and technical staff, which are capable of adhering to our meticulous standards.
